Feeding instructions to handwhen you need them.
How much goes in the evening feed again? In this design, you keep products, quantities and preparation on the feed board. At feeding time, open the instructions for that feed.

THE FEED BOARD
What your horse gets.
Products, quantities and feeding times are together. The example also shows how much hay Sterre gets each day.

THE EVENING FEED
How to prepare it.
The evening feed shows the same products in preparation order, with instructions such as weighing dry and soaking.

Save your routine.Use it again.
Save your feeding instructions and regular schedule. Read your instructions when needed and update them when something changes. Recording every feed is optional.
What does the weather meanfor your day at the yard?
Care advice is being revised around recorded facts, your own settings and sourced information about hazards. Weather does not measure grass sugar or establish safe grazing times.
Do not use test-version advice as a safety assessment. The design shows example data.
About care advice and notifications

Bring your questionsto the appointment.
Save questions as they come to mind. When the farrier, vet or trainer visits, see what you wanted to discuss and what you need to bring.
For example, the design shows a question about tenderness on hard ground, with the owner’s observation underneath.

Give your carerclear instructions.
Let someone at the yard know what goes in the feed and where to find it. Share your saved instructions via WhatsApp or email. They don’t need Halster to read them.
A shared message is a copy from that moment. If the instructions change, share a new version.

Read about rides, expenses, sharing instructions and your data.
View help and contact detailsCan I share instructions with my horse’s carer?
Share feeding instructions as a dated text message. The recipient can read it without Halster. Medication and notes are only included if you choose to share them.
Share a new message after a change; a copy you have sent does not update.
Shared access for carers is in development and not yet available. It is intended to let carers view information in the app within the access you grant.
Do I need an account, and where is my data stored?
For the app, you create a free Halster account with Apple, Google or a code sent by email. Joining the waitlist does not create a Halster account.
Your data is stored on your device and, once you are signed in, on our server in the European Union. Restoring all data on a different device is still being checked.
Halster has no ads and does not sell your data. We do record how the app is used, linked to your account. For the forecast, the weather service receives your yard’s location and your device’s internet address. The privacy statement explains more, including how to turn off usage recording.
Is Halster coming to Android?
Halster is not yet available for Android. There is no launch date yet. Join the Android waitlist and confirm your email address to receive news about availability. Signing up is free and does not start a subscription.
