Horse sitter instructions: free PDF template

What’s on it

• Who to call, who decides if you can’t be reached, and where the passport is.
• The day, the feed, the medication up to and including its last day, and which rug in which weather.
• What is normal for this horse, and when the sitter calls straight away.

How to use it

1. Print it (A4 or Letter, two sheets) and fill it in with a pen.
2. Fill it in the week before you leave and walk through it once together.
3. Date the sheets and hang them by the feed bin, next to the feed chart.

Why on paper

A message on a phone has to be found again; a sheet by the feed bin is there at every feed. Paper also works without an app, an account or a charged phone. The feed board belongs next to it: in Halster you make it with “Share feed board” as a PDF or as text.
